Celebrate the colors of fall with our free printable fall leaf templates!
The Leaves are Changing
It’s fall, you guys!!
I’m so excited that fall has finally arrived because it’s my absolute favorite time of year.
The temperature has finally started to drop here in NW Montana, the leaves just started changing color, and soon they will be falling.
It’s just so colorful and magical this time of year, and I can hardly wait to indulge in all the fall wonders.
Fall Leaf Templates
As a lover of fall, I’m also apparently a lover of creating fall crafting templates and free printables for you guys!
Such as the apple templates and pumpkin templates I created last year.

That said, I’ve totally had these fall leaf templates on my mind for over a year now, and I’m excited to finally be sharing them with you all!
Check them out below!
Maple Leaf Templates
When I first decided I was going to make fall leaf templates, I knew I wanted to make multiple types.
The first of the series is maple leaves, of course.

I truly think Maple leaves are likely the most recognizable leaves and the most used for crafting and decorating this time of year.
So, naturally, I had to create a full set of maple leaf templates.
Whether you just use them for coloring or you plan to decorate and get uniquely crafty, these maple leaf fall leaf templates are ideal for any project you can think up!
Oak Leaf Templates
While maple leaves are great and super recognizable, I do feel like oak leaves come in a close second.

These beautiful leaves are commonly recognized by most people and are another super popular option for fall decorating and crafting!
This set of oak leaf printables can be used alongside the maple leaves or by itself.
Either way, these printables are great for any fall leaf project you can cook up!
Poplar Leaf Templates
Last but certainly not least, I chose to create a collection of poplar leaf templates.

I wasn’t 100% sure what these leaves were myself (I’m no botanist, you guys).
So, when I knew I wanted to create a third leaf option for my readers, I had to do a little research to figure it out.
All that said, I tried to create a template that looked poplar-ish and I hope you like it!
Not going to lie, I think this one complements the other templates pretty well for simple fall crafting!
Leaf Template Uses
Whether you are hoping to use your leaf templates at home or in the classroom, there are so many wonderful ways to use any (or all) of our fall leaf templates!

- Use as leaf coloring pages
- Decorate classroom doors for fall
- Make a leaf-themed banner
- Create a leaf papercraft
- Color and scatter as fall table decor
While these are just a few of the ways you can use our fall leaf template printables, there are numerous other ways you can use them for crafting and decorating!
Print them on paper for cheap and easy coloring or print on cardstock for a more durable decorative piece.
