Celebrate Star Wars Day with this fun May the 4th coloring page for kids!

Star Wars Day

Unlike most holidays, Star Wars Day doesn’t have a detailed or momentous history or beginning.

May the 4th is just something that has taken root among Star Wars fans over time and has grown into a big, celebratory event.

Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze bobble head figures next to printed and colored Star Wars Day coloring page with red and blue light sabers in the background.

That said, I’ve never been a huge Star Wars fan myself.

Growing up, my mom was definitely what most would call a Star Wars mega-fan, and to be completely honest, she had the movies on so often during my childhood that I simply got burnt out.

Sure, I liked certain aspects or certain characters, but I never got super into the whole thing.

All that said, all of my kiddos are pretty into Star Wars, and they’ve convinced me to watch a couple of the new releases.

Strangely, I actually liked (correction, loved) one of them.

Black arched cubby filled with knick-knack items including some Star Wars LEGO minifigures and action figures.

My small collection of Star Wars items featured in my blog post all about minimalistic organization for maximalists (like me!).

In recent years, I’ve gotten very into The Mandalorian series.

So much so that I’ve actually gained a small collection of action figures and LEGO sets.

This is a really odd thing for me to share, but I’ve been anti(if you can call it that) Star Wars for so long that it just feels weird to admit out loud.

Star Wars Coloring Pages

While I may not be super into most of the traditional Star Wars stuff, I know how incredibly popular it is amongst young American families.

So, since I’ve been working hard to expand my coloring pages here on Life + Homeschool anyway, I felt it was time to jump on the May 4th bandwagon!

That said, this simple Star Wars coloring page is exactly that, simple and to the point, you guys!

May the 4th Coloring Pages

So, here I am with my first Star Wars coloring page ever, and it’s what I like to call a May the 4th coloring page special.

This is a simple, generic coloring page for Star Wars Day, and I truly hope you guys enjoy it!

While I’ve been super busy creating new spring and summer content for the blog, I kind of let Star Wars Day get away from me.

SO, needless to say, I was in a bit of a pinch and only created one free coloring sheet for you this time around.

That said, I chose May the 4th as the theme, and I think it truly can work for all Star Wars fans and any type of Star Wars Day celebration!

Who knows, maybe next year I can devote a little more time to creating a larger collection for you all!

Hey guys! I’m Mary, homeschool mom of 3 amazing kiddos.

I’m so excited that you decided to check out my little corner of the world!

If you have been following our journey for any length of time, you already know that I’m obsessed with coffee, organization, and all things simple.

I’m also a huge dog lover and introvert 💗

My homeschool style is very eclectic.

I enjoy a solid mixture of structure and free range. I set goals for myself and my children each week, but I put no pressure on perfection.

We use a wide variety of curriculum in our home.

Some of our current favorites are The Good and the Beautiful, Life of Fred, Beautiful Feet Books, and Lifepac.

While my kids do spend a good amount of time learning at desks, they also spend countless hours exploring their creativity and practicing a little independence.

I love mountains, rainy days, and sitting by the campfire.

Our family recently relocated to the PNW and we have been enjoying finding new nature spots to explore together 🙌🏼

I can’t wait to connect and share all the things I’ve learned on our new journey!

Just a Note…

Thanks for checking out the kid activities portion of the blog!

Typically summer is the most productive time for my blog. However, our family is currently living in temporary housing and we do not see an end in sight (thank you housing marking 😪) — meaning my workspace & supplies to produce quality content it extremely limited.

I am still working, but it’s nothing like normal.

As always, we appreciate your patience!
