By creating to-do lists and practicing advanced prep.
Plus, when it comes to packing for kids and pets, preparing ahead of time is essential for a smoother ride.
This is why I created a brand-new freebie just in time for your next road trip.

Creating a Road Trip Packing List
It’s so incredibly easy to forget essential items when preparing to hit the road with the family.
Then, once you get a few miles down the road and realize you don’t have quite everything you need, the trip automatically becomes stressful.
Since our family full-time RVs and we travel quite often, I know just how many little things are involved in road-tripping.
That’s why I created this free printable packing list for families!
Not only does it cover the generic road trip necessities you will need but it also covers everyday essentials, items for the kiddos, and pet must-haves.
The best part? This freebie includes plenty of blank spaces to add multiple items unique to your family’s needs.

More Travel Fun
Our family has been living life on (and off) the road since 2020!
First, we moved cross-country — from Kansas City all the way to Montana.
Then, when the housing market went bonkers and we lost our rental, we moved into our tiny camper for 6 weeks while trying to figure out our next move.
Finally, we ended up choosing the RV life and have officially been a full-time RV family for over 2 years now!
That said, we are only part-time travelers — spending (at least) half of the year at our home base in Kalispell, MT, and splitting the other half between Kansas City and Texas (with family) or traveling to see new places like checking out Philadelphia for the first time.
While traveling was never originally in the plan for our family it has become a way of life for us, you guys!
