A Little About Us…
Hey there!
If you are reading this, it means you somehow stumbled upon my homeschool blog and I am so excited to welcome you to my little corner of the world!
Before we get any further, let me introduce myself…
I’m Mary, the author and creator of all the content you see on this blog!
I have 3 amazing kiddos and have been. homeschool mom for 9 years now!
You can almost always find me with a coffee cup in my hand or a dog in my lap.
I am a huge introvert and homebody.
I tend to struggle with time management & consistency, but I absolutely thrive with organization & a plan in my hand.
My life is crazy, calm, hectic, and simple all at the same time.
With all that said, the past 3 years have been a complete whirlwind for our family.
First, we sold our home in the Midwest and relocated to the PNW.
Then, after 6 months of struggling to find a new home during the housing market craze, we embarked on an even wilder journey!
We are officially full-time RV homeschoolers!
While the idea of tiny living has always somewhat intrigued me, I never actually envisioned it becoming our reality.
All that suddenly changed 2 summers ago when we lost our rental and the housing went completely nuts.
We started living in our tiny camper for 6 weeks then eventually became a full-time RV family!
How it Started
In March 2018 I stepped out of my comfort zone and created something totally out of the ordinary for me — I created a website.
It was crazy and unexpected because creating content and blogging simply weren’t things that were on my radar.
I didn’t frequent blogs or dream of one day becoming a big-time blogger, it just sort of happened.
Now, nearly 5 years later I am completely astonished at how much my life and that tiny little starter blog have transformed!
While the Life + Homeschool blog sometimes feels like my new baby, Simply Be Wild and Free will always be my mantra and the place it all started.
I encourage you to check out the About Page over on our main website for all the details on how Simply Be Wild & Free and Life + Homeschool came to be.
Our Content
Both blogs are currently in a transition period — meaning part of our content can easily be found here on Life + Homeschool, while the rest still hangs out on our original blog Simply Be Wild & Free.
Over the course of the next several months, all of our homeschool content will be accessible here, freeing up the Simply Be Wild & Free blog to hold all of our RV living & outdoorsy content.
